2017 (REDSHIRT/FRESHMAN): Sat out the indoor season as a redshirt...BEACH VB: 2-2 in exhibition matches...won first two matches of the season...made career debut on February 28 versus Vanguard and defeated the Lions (21-6, 21-7) with Krista Hernandez...teamed with Hannah Manzanares to beat Sacramento State (21-11, 21-13) on April 7.Â
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of West Ranch High School...coach was Brandon Pank...team won league championships in 2016 and 2017...earned Foothill League Player of the Year honors as a senior...chosen first team All-Valley and team MVP as a senior...a member of the National Honor Society...a member of the Legacy Volleyball Club.
PERSONAL: Born Jan. 7, 1999...daughter of Troy and Natalie Skabelund...a criminal justice major working on a minor in child, adolescent, and family studies...mother Natlaie was a triple jumper at BYU from 1989-93...brother Tanner is a member of the men's volleyball team at BYU.
