Biography
2017 (FRESHMAN): Played in all 33 matches....recorded season high with 17 digs against Utah Valley Sept. 30...posted season-high five aces vs. Northern Arizona Sept. 2, tying for the most in a four-set match in CSUB's Division I history...helped CSUB win the WAC Tournament and earn a berth in the NCAA tournament...finished season with 20 aces and 167 digs...BEACH VB: Totaled a 3-12 record, playing exclusively with Ally Barber...was 0-1 at No. 4 pair and 3-11 at No. 5...made career debut against Vanguard on March 10, winning 21-9, 21-6...defeated CSUN on March 30 21-16, 21-16...beat Cal State LA 21-5, 21-6 on April 7.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Culver City High School...coach was Tanner Siegal....posted 416 digs, 84 assists, and 59 aces as team won the program's first CIF Southern Section championship during senior season...team won league titles in 2014 and 2016...earned first team All-League and All-CIF honors in 2015 and 2016...chosen second team All-League in 2014...was a member of the 2016 USA Volleyball High Performance Indoor Women's Junior A1 National Training team after being named an alternate to the team in 2014 and 2015...earned a spot on the 2016 Under Armour/AVCA All-American Watch list.
PERSONAL: Born Feb. 25, 1999...daughter of Tino and Diane Hernandez...a kinesiology major.
