Biography
2021-22 (FRESHMAN): INDOOR: Appeared in 14 sets over seven matches…tallied eight kills on .111 hitting…posted seven blocks…tallied season-highs of three kills and two blocks in NIVC at Weber State…recorded two kills and two blocks vs. Hawai’i Nov. 19.
2020-21 (FRESHMAN/REDSHIRT): INDOOR: Indoor season cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic…BEACH: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2020 graduate of Flint Hill High School in Fairfax, Va.…coached by Carroll Denure…earned First Team All-State, All-Conference, and All-League in 2018 and 2019 and was named to Washington Post All-Met Team both years…selected Max Preps/AVCA Virginia Player of the Week on Oct. 7, 2019, after averaging 3.88 kills and 1.75 digs per set…over two varsity seasons, averaged 3.2 kills per set on .296 hitting…led Huskies to back-to-back State 1A, conference, and Metro City titles in 2018 and 2019…also competed for Metro Volleyball Club, 17/18u travel team, and nationally ranked travel teams.
PERSONAL: Born on May 6, 2002…daughter of Harry and TaShonda Pugh…brother, Kodye, competed for the Stanford men’s basketball team (2017-20) but was a graduate transfer at Loyola Marymount in 2020-21…a kinesiology major...hopes to become a physical therapist after her time at CSUB.
