HIGH SCHOOL: A 2023 graduate of North Broward Preparatory School in Coconut Creek, Fla.…Coached by Grace Staudt and Tyler Smith…Named Team MVP in 2022 and 2023…Given “Foundation Award” for starting beach volleyball program at her high school…Named Sun Sentinel All-County Team in 2023…Earned High Honor Roll all 12 trimesters…Also played indoor volleyball for the Eagles…In club beach competition, placed first at 2023 USAV Nationals in 18U, second at 2023 ISF Pan American International Cup representing USA, and first at 2022 Gulf Shores Beach Fest…Ranked ninth in 2022 AVP Juniors Grand Prix.
PERSONAL: Plans to major in political science with emphasis in Pre-Law…Hopes to go to Law School and work in government after her time at CSUB…Father, Ray Sheppard, played professional hockey in the NHL from 1987-2000.
