2011 CROSS
COUNTRY (R-SENIOR): Didn’t compete in any meets for CSUB.
2011 TRACK
AND FIELD (REDSHIRT SEASON): Sat out the season and redshirted.
2010 TRACK AND FIELD (JUNIOR): Yesmin Tanguma won the 3,000 meter
steeplechase at the Fresno State Dual in 12:48.06, the program’s sixth fastest
mark all–time...fastest 3,000 was 11:51.64 at the Tommie Lister Invitational
(4–24–10).
RIDGEVIEW HIGH SCHOOL:
Tanguma
was voted team MVP her senior season...team won Southwest Yosemite League title
in 2008...also played soccer, swam and ran track for the Wolfpack.
PERSONAL: Tanguma is a child, family and adolescence studies major at
CSUB...would like to open a day care or council children after
graduation...parents are Mary and Javier Tanguma...outside interests include
dancing, singing, drawing and writing
