2007: Valerie Taylor recorded season-best time of 60.40 in the 400m.

BAKERSFIELD COLLEGE: Taylor graduated with her AA degree from Bakersfield College in 2005...was a two-year member of the track & field team.

WEST HS: Taylor competed in cross country and track and field at West High School in Bakersfield.

PERSONAL: Taylor is a liberal studies major at CSUB...also earning a minor in child development...plans to teach elementary school and coach track & field.
