2008: Melisa Cruz played 10 minutes against UC Riverside in her only action of the year.

WEST HS: Cruz attended West HS in the Southwest Yosemite League and played for coach Julie Castello...named team MVP and was named a second team all-league performer as a junior...received the Jockey Club Award as a senior...also ran cross country and track

PERSONAL: Cruz will major in liberal studies at CSUB...plans to minor in music...outside interests include playing the piano.
