2014 (R-SENIOR): Competed in one meet, racing in the 100m at Cal State LA Invite…Finished 42nd with a time of 11.45 seconds.

2014 (R-JUNIOR): Returned to the track after two years and posted a time of 11.43 in the 100m dash at the Cal State LA Invite…Recorded a personal best in the 100m with a fifth-place finish at the Cal Poly Invite (11.08)…Finished the 200m dash eighth at Cal Poly with a season-best time of 22.55…Finished 17th in the preliminaries of the WAC Outdoor Championships with a 23.00 in the 200m…Ran the anchor leg of the 4x100 relay several times including the CSUB season-best time of 42.34 with a fourth-place finish at WAC Outdoors…Also led off the 4x400 relay that finished fifth at WAC Outdoors (3.21.02), helping Bakersfield to its fastest relay time in the over eight years…Inducted into the Alpha Chi Honor Society for his academic achievements and was an important part of the men’s track team which was honored with a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award for having a 3.00 or above cumulative GPA…Also named to the WAC All-Academic Team.

2013 (JUNIOR): Took a redshirt for the 2013 season.

2012 (SOPHOMORE): Sat out the season after undergoing back surgery.

2011 (FRESHMAN): Was part of the men’s 4x100 relay that took first place at the Cal State LA Last Chance Meet with a 41:83, at the Occidental Invitational in 40.98, at the Fresno State Invitational with a season-low time of 40.83, at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational with a time of 41.43, and at the USC Invitational  with a time of 41.44 …A member of the relay squad that placed second in the 4x100 at the Cal-Nevada Championships with a 41.44 mark and also finished in second at Cal State Northridge with a time of 41.80…Placed fifth in the 400 (50.26) at the Cal Poly Invitational…Took eighth in the 400 meter (50.09) at the Tommy Lister Classic…Also placed 12th in the 200 (22.33) and 14th in the 100 (11.23) at the Last Chance Meet…Indoor season was highlighted by a fourth-place finish in the 200-meter dash at the NAU Team Challenge, where he was also a member of the fourth-place 4x400 relay team (3:36.29).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of Centennial High School...Was named All-Southwest Yosemite League First Team in 2009…Picked up All-Area honorable mention accolades in 2009… Named Sprinter of the Year for the Golden Hawks as well…Captured the CIF Central Section Valley championship for the 4x400 meter relay in 2009 and qualified for the State meet…Was a two-time medalist at the prestigious Arcadia Invitational as he won the 4x200 meter relay in 2009 and 4x100 meter relay in 2010… Holds the school record in the 4x200…Also holds the meet record at the Kingsburg Rafer Johnson Invitational for the 4x200 and 4x400 meter relays…Played football for the Golden Hawks and won the Southwest Yosemite League championship in 2008…Also ran cross country.

PERSONAL: Born Jan. 31, 1992…Son of George and Shirley Turkington…A petroleum engineering major…Plans to attend graduate school after graduation.
