2016-17 (FRESHMAN): Competed in all four races for the ‘Runners…Finished fifth for CSUB in Pepperdine 4k with time of 19:42.3…Posted season-best 5k time of 21:32.1 at WAC meet to finish third for CSUB and 53rd overall…Ran Pomona-Pitzer 6k in 25:33.4.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2016 graduate of Fillmore High School in Fillmore…Coach was Kim Tafoya…Ventura County Champions in the 4x800m and runner-up Tri-Valley League Champions…Received Most Outstanding Distance Runner for track in 2013 and Best Newcomer for cross country in 2012…Prep career bests: 400m (65.85), 800m (2:31.53), 1600m (5:40.48), 3200m (13:02.34)…Also competed in soccer for the Flashes…Earned Life Membership Award from California Scholarship Federation…Graduated with a 4.1 GPA.
