2013 (JUNIOR): Continued where he left off by taking first at the Cal Poly Pomona Preview in the discus throw with a distance of 159.07 as well as third in the hammer throw with a toss of 174-08…Placed second in the discus throw with a hurl of 159-08 and fourth in the hammer throw with a distance of 169-09…Finished fourth in both the discus and hammer throw at the Bulldog Open with throws of 146.62 and 159.94 respectively…Wrapped up the year with a sixth-place finish in the shot up (44-02.0) at the Great West Conference Championships, third in the discus for a throw of 144-00, and fifth in the hammer throw with a toss of 168.

 2012 (SOPHOMORE): In his first year after transferring to CSUB, earned an all-Great West Conference selection after an impressive performance in the discus throw at the conference meet with a toss of 155-08 that put in him in third place…Also competed in the hammer and recorded a throw of 160-9 to place ninth, just one spot out of medaling…Placed in the top 10 at a handful of meets throughout the season including when he placed third in the discus (143-05) at the Cal State Northridge Invite, fourth in the discus (151-09.5) and sixth in the hammer (150-09.75) at the Cal Poly Invite, fourth in the discus (151-09.5) at the Cal Poly Invite, fifth in the discus (158-02) at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite, eighth in the discus at the Steve Scott Invite at UC Irvine (160-04) and 10th in the discus (148-06) at the Ben Brown Invite. 

UNIVERSITY OF ALASKA, ANCHORAGE: Competed as a thrower for one year under head coach Michael Friess…Earned a spot on the Dean’s List.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from South Anchorage High School, where he competed in track and field and played baseball and football, in 2009…Was part of the Wolverine football state championship team in 2006…Served as a thrower for the Wolverine track team in 2009 when South Anchorage was state runner-up…Earned academic honors all eight semesters as a Wolverine with a GPA above 3.5.

 PERSONAL: Born on Jan. 26, 1991…Son of Mike and Marla Holland…Anticipated major is nursing with a minor in business…After his time at CSUB, he plans to further his nursing career and ministry for Jesus…Interests include snowboarding, snowmobiling, wood working and loving people and Jesus.
