2007: Season-best 12:10.00 in the two-mile and 12:21.64 in the 3000m steeplechase.

BAKERSFIELD COLLEGE: Silva holds the Bakersfield College women’s steeplechase record.

HIGHLAND HS: Silva was named Highland High School’s track & field team MVP in 2003.

PERSONAL: Silva is a psychology major at CSUB...also earning a minor in biology...plans to attend graduate school and enter the Marine Corps...interests include coaching, art and learning American Sign Language.
