2019 (JUNIOR): Competed in six meets for CSU Bakersfield...posted his best mark at the Titan Team Challenge on March 30 with a jump of 6.77m (22'2.5")...Cooper's best finish occurred in the Cal Poly Sharslo.com Invitational when the junior tallied a second-place mark in a tough field of competition.
2018 (SOPHOMORE):Â Transferred to CSU Bakersfield from Redlands...competed in seven meets for the Roadrunners...earned a first-place finish in the long jump Feb. 16...posted his best mark at the Western Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships (23-01.75)...named Academic All-WAC honoree for the 2017-18 academic year...interned with house majority leader Kevin McCarthy in Washington D.C. over the summer.
2017 (FRESHMAN): Competed at University of Redlands under Coach Mike Schmidt…named USTFCCCA All-Region during Indoor season…earned spot on the 2017 SCIAC All-Academic Team...posted season-best 22-07.25 in long jump and 42-01.25 in triple jump.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2016 graduate of Bakersfield High School...coached by Kim Jenkins and Bob Coons…earned several awards in 2016 including and Athletic Director’s Award, Team MVP, and the Art Dalzell Memorial Scholarship…ranked eighth all-time at BHS in long jump (23-08.00)…finished second in long jump at 2016 Central Section Championships…also competed in cross country for the Drillers. PERSONAL: Born May 29, 1998...son of Felix and Teresa Adamo…major is Applied Mathematics…first name is Felix, but prefers to go by middle name…great cousin, Jeff Mullins, won gold medal with USA basketball at 1964 Olympics, played at Duke for four years and played with the Golden State Warriors for 10 years...plans to go into the space industry after graduation.
