2014 (SENIOR): Repeated as WAC Champion in hammer throw with throw of 189-01 in rainy conditions…Never finished worse than fourth in hammer in eight meets…Won hammer two other times including at competitive USC Trojan Invitational where he set new personal best with throw of 197-07…Mark moved him from tied for seventh all-time for CSUB to sole possession of seventh-best throw and longest for the ‘Runners since 2006…Also earned First Team All-Conference after finishing third with personal best throw of 49-04.25 in shot put at WAC Outdoors.

2014 (JUNIOR): Had a breakout season for the ‘Runners in the hammer throw, placing fourth or higher in six meets…Opened the season with a six-foot increase over his previous personal best with a 189-08 at the Cal State LA Invite…One week later, demolished his personal best with a 197-00, tying for 7th all-time in Bakersfield history with a second-place finish at the Ben Brown Invite…Became CSUB’s first ever WAC Champion with a 191-04 at the WAC Outdoor Championships…Qualified for the NCAA West Regional and finished 26th with his second-best career throw (193-10)…Also competed in the shot put, where he put up a personal best (48-05.25) to place sixth at the WAC Outdoors and earn a second All-Conference honor.

2013 (SOPHOMORE): Took second and fifth in the shot put (47-08.50) and hammer throw (163-10) respectively to start the season off at the Cal Poly Pomona Preview…Finished ninth in the shot put with a toss of 44-06 and placed seventh in the hammer throw with a throw of 147-03…Threw a 43-06 in the shot put to finish fifth and second in the hammer throw with a distance of 165-08…Tossed a career-best 183-02 for second-place in the hammer throw at the Great West Conference Championships.

2012 (FRESHMAN): Made an impact as a freshman up-and-coming thrower…Placed 12th in the shot put with a throw of 44-00.50 at the Great West Conference Championships and took 16th in the hammer with a toss of 137-09….Posted numerous Top 10 finishes including placing seventh in the hammer (135-02) at the Cal Poly Invite, ninth in the shot put (44-01.25) at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite, and 10th in the shot put (43-00.5) at the Cal Poly Invite….Recorded a toss of 148-9 in the hammer throw at the Tommy Lister Invitational…In the indoor season, placed seventh in the shot put with a toss of 43-00.5, seventh in the shot put (45-00.5) and ninth in the weight throw (48-06.25) at the NAU Open and 10th in the weight throw (48-06.75) at the Lumberjack Invite.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of Liberty High School…Was a thrower for the Patriots under coach Rod Chronister…Put up a personal-best mark of 52-11.05 in the shot put…Had a GPA of 3.8….Also played football for the Patriots and was named as an All-Southwest Yosemite League offensive tackle.

PERSONAL: Born on Feb. 10, 1993…Son of Sean Wilmert and Charlotte Stanley…Majoring in mathematics…Hopes to be a high school math teacher after CSUB…Born in Las Vegas.
