Connie King ran in six meets for the Roadrunners in 2009...fastest 5K time was 20:44.7 at the UC Riverside Invitational (Sept. 19)...was CSUB’s fifth best finisher in two meets–Roadrunner Invitational (Sept. 26) and Cal State Northridge Invitational (Oct. 16).
2007-08
King finished 11th in the 400-meter dash at the Lumberjack Invitational and the Northern Arizona University Friday Night Challenge...won the 500m run at the Lee Adams Invite in 1:20.80...ran a season best 400m dash of 1:01.11 at the UCLA Invitational...captured a team best time of 2:21.80 in the 800m at the Steve Scott Invitational.
2006-07
King competed in track and field in the spring of 2007...ran a season-best 66.53 in the 400m hurdles.
PERSONAL
King is a liberal studies major at CSUB...concentrating in child development...after graduating, plans to teach first grade and possibly coach track at an elementary school.
