CSUB: In 2007, Bethany Lopez recorded a season-best 2:26.44 in the 800m...recorded a season-best 5:20.94 in the 1500m...also competes in cross country at CSUB...in 2006 recorded a 21:12.00, 84th place finish at the Titan Invitational to close out the season...also placed 6th at the 2006 Roadrunner Invitational.

BAKERSFIELD COLLEGE: Lopez comes to Bakersfield after a successful junior college career at Bakersfield College...in cross country she placed 35th at the 2004 Western State Conference Championships...the Renegades were the 2004 California Junior College Southern California champions that year...finished the Bakersfield College Invitational in 21:00...also had best times of 2:21 in the 800 and 70 seconds in the 400 hurdles.

CHANNEL ISLANDS HS: Lopez competed in cross country and track and field at Channel Islands High School in Ventura, Calif.

PERSONAL: Lopez is a liberal studies major at CSUB.
