2019 (SOPHOMORE): Saw three meets of competition as a sophomore...did not post marks in two of the three...cleared 4.00m (13'1.5") in polel vault at the Ben Brown Invitational.
2018 (FRESHMAN): Competed in eight meets with the track & field team...recorded six top 10 marks in pole vault...posted personal-best mark of 13-09.75 at WAC Outdoor Championships...earned Second Team All-Conference...named Academic All-WAC honoree.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of West High School...coached by Todd Madison, Anthony Dao and Paul Hernandez…earned All-Area (2015-16, 2016-17)...named Team MVP (2016)...named most valuable field athlete (2017)...received the Bakersfield Jockey Club award (2017). PERSONAL: Born March 1, 1999...son of Arturo and Maria Valencia...major is Electrical Engineering...plans to work as an electrical engineer after graduation.
