2009: April Cacuyog emerged as CSUB’s top 400m runner in the spring season...concluded the season with a 59.62 quarter mile at the Fresno State dual meet...also hit a personal best of 26.48 in the 200m at Fresno State...ran on the 4x400 meter relay team throughout her freshman season.
CENTENNIAL HS: Cacuyog as voted her team’s MVP in track...holds the school record in the 4x200 and 4x400 meter relays...the Hawks won Southwest Yosemite League titles all four seasons Cacuyog attended CHS...also played basketball for Cenntenial...voted basketball’s best defensive player...ran for coach Ryan Renz.
PERSONAL: Cacuyog is a nursing major at CSUB...considering a minor in business...cousin, Josh Connelly, played Major League Baseball for the New York Mets...enjoys traveling, working out, being near the water, wakeboarding and snowboarding...daughter of Robert Cacuyog.
