2012
(SOPHOMORE): Placed sixth in the 400 at the Great West Conference Championships
with a time of 57.55 and took seventh in the 200 with a time of 25.17…Also a
member of the CSUB 4X400 relay that placed third at the GWC meet and the 4X100
relay squad that placed fourth… In the regular season, took fourth in the 200
dash (25.88) and sixth in the 100-meter dash (12.72) at the Cal Poly
Invite….Her season-best times were 200 (24.69), 400 (56.95) and 100 (12.38)…In
the indoor season, placed ninth in the 400 with a time of 59.27 seconds at the
NAU Invite.
2011
(FRESHMAN): Finished 10th in the 100-meter and 200-meter dash at the
Tommy Lister Classic (Apr. 23) with times of 12.61 and 25.29 respectively…Part of the ‘Runners’ 4X100-meter relay team that
placed eighth (49.40) at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational (Apr. 9).
WESTERN HIGH SCHOOL: Garrett holds every relay record at Western High
School…also holds the 200 record (24.9)…led the Warriors to two State
Championship titles… was named team MVP multiple seasons… 4 x 100 team entered
the 2010 Arcadia meet with a No. 7 national ranking… ran for Team Hurricane and
Silver State Jaguars…competed in four Junior Olympics… graduated from Western
with honors and was a member of the National Honor Society.
PERSONAL:
Garrett is majoring in criminal justice at CSUB…intends to go into sports
therapy after graduation…Born June 26, 1992.
