2024-2025 (SOPHOMORE): Cross Country - Competed in a single invitational for the Roadrunners during her second year in the blue and gold...Placed 61st overall at the Waves Invite with a time of 18:55.7. Outdoor Track - Did not compete in any meets during the season.
2023-2024 (FRESHMAN): Cross Country - Ran in the blue and gold for the first time at the Seawolf Invite. Placed 28th overall in the 5,000m course with a time of 22:10.1...Best time of the season in the 6k came at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational, where she earned a personal best of 27:37.9...Was the only freshman to represent the Roadrunners at the Big West Cross Country Championships. Indoor Track - DNF'd at two meets. Outdoor Track - Did not compete in any meets during her first season at CSUB.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2023 graduate of Ridgeview High School...Coach was Triandous Hobson and current CSUB teammate Alea Gaona...Helped Ridgeview High win 2019 SYL League Championships...Was honored team's Varsity Most-Improved Award in 2019...SYVL All-League in 2019,2022, and 2023...Was honored team MVP in 2022 for Cross Country and Varsity Girls Track and Field Coaches Award in 2023...Was a top scholar (4.0+) and was a State Seal of Biliteracy and Golden State Seal Merit recipient.
PERSONAL: A native of Lamont, Calif...Major is Criminal Justice...Anicia plans on being a detective after CSUB.
