2010 (BIOLA UNIV): Smith comes to CSUB after playing for NAIN Biola University…She sat out 2011 season…Starting third baseman in all 45 games for the Eagles  in 2010, when she hit .346, scored 24 runs and drove in 17 more runs…Recorded a .390 batting average in 2009…Named a Golden State Athletic All-Conference honors her sophomore and junior years…Named an NAIA Scholar Athlete in 2010-11 and a GSAC Scholar Athlete 2007-11…Earn a place on the Biola Dean’s List all four years with the Eagles.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned Olympic All-League honors all four years at Los Angeles Baptist HS before graduating in 2007…Helped the Knights earn two Olympic League championships (2004, 07)…Set Olympic League records for batting average in a season, triples and fielding percentage…Qualified for the Honor Roll all four years….played club softball for JETS Gold for 2001-11.

PERSONAL: Born on February 1, 1989…Graduated in 2011 with a degree in human biology with a minor in Biblical studies from Biola…Earning her masters in heath care administration from CSUB…daughter of Marianne and Kevin Smith…hobbies include listening and downloading music and quoting “Friends” and coaching JETS gold.
