Kristen will try to break into the CSUB rotation after a highly-decorated prep career at Katella High School...earned team MVP and first team All-Empire League recognition as both a junior and a senior...totalled 18 wins, a 1.28 ERA and 413 strikeouts in 288 innings over that span...also was the Knights No. 2 hitter with a .261 average...compiled a 4.00 grade point average in the fall quarter....her sister, Jessica, was the starting libero for Whittier College this past season...her grandfather, Grover Nutt, letterred in football at Kansas State.
