Biography

2019 (FRESHMAN): Made 15 starts and 26 appearances in the circle…Posted team-highs with six wins and 47 strikeouts…Threw 86.1 innings with a 5.41 ERA, a 6-7 record, two complete games, and one shutout…Tossed complete-game shutout Mar. 23 vs. California Baptist, allowing just three hits while striking out three batters…Struck out season-high seven batters at Seattle U Apr. 20…Earned first win in collegiate debut, relieving final two innings vs. UC Santa Barbara Feb. 8.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of Los Banos High School in Los Banos, Calif.…Coached by Greg Alvarez…Earned All-Area honors three times and All-League twice…Played 99 games in four varsity seasons…Batted .550 or better as a junior and senior and finished prep career with .485 batting average…Tallied 113 hits, 47 runs, 80 RBI, and 31 doubles…In the circle, made 64 appearances in four years, finishing with 2.68 ERA in 336.2 career innings…Went 13-2 as a sophomore with 2.04 ERA…Recorded 250 career strikeouts and only 96 walks…Earned Scholar-Athlete honors…Also competed on varsity tennis team for LBHS all four seasons…Was First Team All-League three times and Second Team once…LBHS won league title all four years…Went undefeated in singles junior and senior seasons.
