Biography

 

College of the Sequoias: The most experienced of the three new catchers battling to replace Hilary Taylor, Jaimey joins the ’Runners after leading College of the Sequoias to 31 wins, a share of the Central Valley Conference title and a berth in the regional tournament in 2008...finished in the top 10 in batting and led the CVC with 46 RBIs.

Eastern Kentucky: Jaimey got her first taste of NCAA Division I softball by playing in 35 games and starting 22 as a freshman...her first collegiate hit was a solo home run against Georgia State on Feb. 18, 2006...first multi?hit game was a 2?for?4 effort vs. Southeast Missouri State on Apr. 18.

High School: Lettered four times in softball for the Knights of Saint Joseph High School in Santa Maria...was a four?time All?Los Padres League pick and a three?time all?area selection...also earned all?league honors as a senior setter on the Knights’ volleyball team...named female athlete of the year for SJHS in 2004?05...led her travel ball team to a second place finish at the ASA U23 nationals, earning second team All?America recognition in the process.
Personal: Jaimey is majoring in religious studies...earned numerous academic honors in high school...was a Colonel Scholar?Athlete at EKU.
