Biography

2020 (JUNIOR): Started in eight games, all at first base before season was cut short due to COVID-19 pandemic…Batted .238 (5-for-21) with a .524 slugging percentage thanks to a double, a triple, and a home run…Ranked second on the team with six RBI…at No. 4 UCLE on Feb. 8, went 2-for-3 with two RBI…Recorded a perfect fielding percentage with 54 putouts and three assists.

2019 (SOPHOMORE): Made nine starts and appeared in 19 games…Split time between first base and designated player…Batted .184 on the year with .316 slugging percentage and .238 on-base percentage…Finished season with five runs, two doubles, one home run, six RBI, three walks, and 43 putouts…Posted career game vs. Southern Utah Mar. 1, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs…Tied second-most putouts (14) in CSUB Division I single-game history twice (vs. Montana Feb. 23 and vs. Kansas City Apr. 12).

2018 (FRESHMAN): Started 32 games in 37 appearances…Batted .184 on the season with a .245 on-base percentage…Recorded eight runs, 11 RBI, three doubles, one home run, and seven walks…Led the `Runners with 223 putouts at first base…Tallied season-high two hits in three games…First collegiate home run came vs. San Diego Mar. 18…Recorded season-high 12 putouts twice.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Canyon Del Oro High School in Clovis, Calif....Coach was Kelly Fowler…Helped her team win 2017 State Champions…Batted .485 senior year with 36 RBI with 50 hits in 33 games…Was 4A Conference Player of the Year. 
 
PERSONAL: Born Jan. 4, 1999...Daughter of Mike and Chemy Acedo...A liberal studies major who plans to become a teacher after her time at CSUB...Played with teammate Arianna Felix several years in high school and travel ball; Acedo goes by "Ari" and Felix goes by "Ana".
