Biography

2021 (REDSHIRT): The CSU Bakersfield softball team did not compete in the 2021 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2020 (SOPHOMORE): Started in 13 of 14 games played, mostly in right field, before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic…Batted .194 (6-for-31) on the year with three RBI and three runs…Tallied an outfield assist…Earned Academic All-WAC honors.

2019 (FRESHMAN): Made 40 starts and appeared in 44 games…Started 24 games in right field, 15 in left field, and one in center field…Finished season with .227 batting average, but hit .256 during conference play, third-best on team…Recorded 10 runs, three RBI, eight walks, four stolen bases, and three outfield assists on the year…Tallied five multi-hit games…Went 5-for-8 in WAC series win over California Baptist including first collegiate triple…Scored pair of runs in victory over Southern Utah Mar. 1…Was 3-for-4 with a walk in win over Sacramento State Feb. 10...During offseason, spent a lot of time in the weight room.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of Liberty High School in Bakersfield, Calif.…Coach was Ryane Petersen, a former Roadrunner (2010-11) star…Named First Team All-League and Second Team All-League…Batted .440 as a junior and .351 as a senior for a prep career average of .395…Tallied 73 hits, 53 runs, 31 RBI, and 24 walks in two seasons.
 
PERSONAL: Born Nov. 21, 1999...Daughter of Mitch and Jennifer Miller…A sociology major, working on a minor in psychology, and hopes to become a pediatric therapist…Uncle, Steve Ontiveros, played in MLB for Cubs & Giants.
