Biography
2023-24 (SOPHOMORE): Primarily set on distance freestyle events…Placed Top 5 in five dual meets events…Posted personal bests and scored big points at the Big West Championships with a 7th-place finish in the 1650 free (15:48.03), a 10th-place finish in the 500 free (4:28.12), and a 16th-place finish in the 200 free (1:39.93)…Earned Big West Academic All-District.
2023-24 (FRESHMAN): Focused on distance freestyle events…Placed Top 5 in three dual meets events…Scored points at MPSF Championships with 11th-place finish in 1650 free and 16th-place finish in 200 free…Posted personal-best 500 free (4:35.49), 1000 free (9:52.30, mile split), and 1650 free (16:05.06) at Conference…Recorded personal-best 200 free (1:40.59) and 50 free (21.64, relay leadoff) at Big Al Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2023 graduate of Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins, Colo….Coached by Joel Thompson…Named team MVP each of final two seasons and was an All-American honoree in 2021 and 2023…A 5A High School State A-Finalist in the 100 freestyle in 2022 and 2023…Also competed for Vortex Swim Club, earning a finals placement in the 100 free in 2022 and 100 and 200 free in 2022 and 2023.
PERSONAL: A kinesiology major who plans to became an athletic trainer after his time at CSUB.
