Biography

2017-18 (FRESHMAN): Finished 41st US Winter Nationals in 100 back (51.92) and swam career-best 1:55.07 in the 200 IM…posted season-best times of 51.77 in the 100 back, 1:52.70 in the 200 back, 52.55 in the 100 fly and 48.08 in the 100 free...finished in the top five nine times.  
 
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Los Osos High School...coached by Casey Heinen…LOHS Rookie of the Year in 2014…earned First Team All-Area in 2016…helped Grizzlies win league championships in 2014 and 2015 as well as CIF D2 Championships in 2014 and runners-up in 2016.
 
PERSONAL: Born Oct. 15, 1999...son of Jimmy Trieu and Nicole Tran...plans to major in kinesiology.
