Jacob Sharar is in his first season as the diving coach at CSU Bakersfield.

Sharar began his coaching career at Clark High School in Clovis, Calif. in 2009 and coached until 2011 at Clark. From 2012-13, Sharar was the diving coach for the Clovis East High School and Reyburn Intermediate School programs. He also worked with the Clovis Diving Club and in the Clovis Swim Camps from 2012-13.

Sharar graduated from Fresno State in 2013 with a BA in Theater Arts.
