2022-23 (SENIOR): Competed in nine different events, primarily focusing on the breaststroke and IM races…Won silver in the 100 IM and bronze in the 50 fly at the National Invitational Championships…Placed sixth to earn All-Conference honors in the 50 free at the MPSF Championships…Scored in both the 100 and 200 breast at the MPSF Championships, placing 12th and 9th, respectively…Finished third at the Big Al Invitational in the 100 breast, fifth in the 100 fly, and sixth in the 200 breast…Earned seven individual first-place finishes and placed Top 3 14 times…Became the fastest man in CSUB history, breaking the 32-year-old 50 free record while becoming the first `Runner under the sub-20 mark with a time of 19.97 during the MPSF Championships…Posted second-fastest 100 back time in program history (48.06)…Reset CSUB’s 100 breast record (53.92)…Broke CSUB’s 29-year-old 200 breast record (1:58.62) at the MPSF Championships…Ranks fourth in school history in the 100 fly (47.74)…Helped the 200 free relay team post the fourth-fastest time in CSUB history (1:20.48).
2021-22 (JUNIOR): Grabbed 11 Top-10 finishes in his final collegiate season...Won five individual races, including winning both the 100 and 200 Breaststroke events in dual meets with Pacific and Pomona-Pitzer...Captured the 50 Breaststroke at the CSUB Sprint Invitational...Placed 8th in the 100 Breaststroke at the MPSF Championship...Was 11th in the 200 Breaststroke and 12th in the 50 Freestyle at the league championship meet...Swam the 100 Breaststroke at the US Open...Qualified for the National Invitational Championship, placing 19th in the 100 Breaststroke and 9th in the 50 Freestyle…Helped the 200 medley and 400 medley relay teams post the third-fastest times in CSUB history…
2020-21 (JUNIOR): Team did not compete due to COVID-19.
2019-20 (SOPHOMORE): Recorded 23 top-10 finishes, highlighted by nine runner-up placements...Earned WAC Swimmer of the Week honors after reaching the final in the 100 Breast (56.11), the 200 Breast (2:03.30) and the 200 IM (1:50.60) at the Trojan Invite...Grabbed second-place finishes at the UNLV Invite in the 100 Breast (57.40), the 200 Breast (2:06.21) and the 200 IM (1:54.43)...Runner up in the 100 Breast, 200 Breast and the 200 IM against California Baptist and Pomona-Pitzer...Second in the 200 Breast against UC Santa Cruz...Competed in the 100 Breast, the 200 Breast and the 200 IM at the WAC Championships...Placed 16th in the 100 Breast (55.84) and the 200 Breast (2:03.07) at the conference meet, setting a personal best in each event...Swam a 1:52.70 in the 200 IM...Qualified for the Toyota US Open and the National Invitational Championship in the 200 Breast...Also swam the 50 Free at the NIC, grabbing ninth with a 20.44.
PRIOR TO CSUB: Competed for the University of Indianapolis...earned All-American honors as the lead leg of the eighth-place 200-yard freestyle relay team (1:21.16) and helped the 400 medley relay team finish fifth (3:12.87)...also qualified for the NCAAs in the 100 breast (56.36, 24th) and 200 breast (2:03.27, 26th).
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Gimazija Franje Petrica in Zadar, Croatia...also played soccer growing up.
PERSONAL: Computer science major.
