Biography
• 2020 2nd-Team All-WAC - 800 Free Relay
2021-22: Missed most of the season due to injury...Returned to compete in one event at the MPSF Championship meet, racing in the preliminary heats of the 50 Freestyle.
2020-21: Team did not compete due to COVID-19.
2019-20: Collected 15 top-10 finishes on the season, while racing primarily in the breaststroke events...Won both the 100 Breast (58.38) and the 200 Breast (2:08.62) in a late season dual with UC Santa Cruz...Swam the 100 Breast, the 200 Breast and the 200 IM at the WAC Championship meet, finishing 10th in the 100 Breast (55.40) and 11th in the 200 Breast (2:01.88)...Anchored Bakersfield's 800 Free Relay team to a school record and a third place finish at WAC meet...Swam the breaststroke leg on the team's 400 medley entry that placed fourth...Qualified for the National Invitational Championship and placed 10th in the 50 Breast (25.46)...Swam the breaststroke leg on CSUB's 400 medley relay team that placed fourth and set a school record at the NIC.
2018-19: Produced top 20 finishes in the 100 breast (19th, 56.57) and 200 breast (18th, 2:04.25) at the WAC Championships...set personal record in the 100 breast (56.54) in the prelims of the WAC Championships...finished third in the 200 free (1:45.18) against UC Santa Cruz...had four top-five finishes on the season.
2017-18 (FRESHMAN): Competed primarily in the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke, and 200 individual medley…finaled in all three events at the WAC Championships…placed 15th in the 200 breast (2:04.14), 14th in the 200 IM (1:51.50) and placed 19th in the 100 breast (57.37) at WAC Championships...earned Academic All-WAC honors.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Fort Collins High School...coach was Kirk Witulski…was team captain for three years…placed second at conference meet in 200 free and seventh at state meet in 100 free as a junior…also played baseball and basketball for the Lambkins...named to National Honors Society.
PERSONAL: Born July 19, 1998...son of Tony and Michelle Dragan…mother, Michelle, played volleyball for University of Nevada, Reno…majoring in environmental resources management.
