Biography
2014-15 (FRESHMAN): Competed in nine of ten tournaments for the Roadrunners…Averaged CSUB-best 75.38 strokes over 24 rounds of play on the year…Tied CSUB’s season-low round of one-over 71 twice at the Sac State Intercollegiate…Shot even par one and one-over three times…Went single digits over par in four different tournaments…Finished Cal Poly Match Play Tournament 1-2, playing against as the No. 1 golfer...Led ‘Runners at WAC Championships with 223 (+7) to finish 22nd overall.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of Riverside Polytechnic High School...Coached by Ed Jones and Greg Slesner… Competed on the varsity squad all four years...Named All-League last three seasons…Placed third at the CIF Qualifier as a sophomore and junior…Placed seventh at the CIF Regional Qualifier…Helped lead the Bears to become Ivy League Champions all four years and Conference Champions as a freshman and runners-up as a sophomore…Competed in the Future Champions Golf World Championship in 2014…SCPGA Junior Tour-3 first place…Finished Top 10 six times in 2012-13… Best tournament score was a 140 (69-71), while averaging 72 in his high school career…Also played baseball for the Bears.
PERSONAL: Born on May 28, 1996...Son of Cory and Sandra Stone...Plans to major in business administration/management…Hopes to join the PGA tour and own golf academies after his time at CSUB…Enjoys helping teach junior golf in his free time.
