2009 – CSUB: Kasie proved to be a rock–solid defensive addition behind the plate as a sophomore in 2009, handling 75 chances without an error in 21 games…threw out 33 percent of would–be base stealers as well…made her first collegiate hit a huge one when she stroked a two–run single to defeat San Jose State on Mar. 8…had her first multi–hit game with a 2–for–3 effort in a win over Temple University on Mar. 11.
Santa Barbara CC: Kasie transferred from Santa Barbara City College, where she led the Vaqueros to a third–place finish in the Western State Conference Gold Division while earning second team all–conference honors…hit .379 with 10 doubles and three home runs…added 11 stolen bases.
High School: Posted impressive numbers at Tehachapi High School where she led the Warriors to consecutive undefeated South Sequoia League titles…hit .408 with 13 doubles and five home runs while earning team MVP and Bakersfield Californian All–Area honors…was a four–time All–SSL pick…named THS Athlete of the Month eight times…also lettered in basketball, cross country and volleyball…was an All–SSL selection in cross country for 2006.
Personal: Kasie is majoring in physical education and kinesiology…career goal is to teach physical education…graduated high school with a 3.4 GPA…answers to the nickname KK.
