Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Below are several frequently asked questions and related answers. If you have any other questions, please contact the CSUB Ticket Office at (661) 654-BLUE or tickets@csub.edu.
  • What counts as "proof" of vaccination or a negative test?
    • Please see the two lists above outlining the four different ways to prove your vaccination status and the two ways to prove you have a negative COVID-19 test.
  • If I have been vaccinated or have a negative test, do I still have to wear a mask?
    • Yes. Masks are still required for spectators inside the Icardo Center. The only exception is to briefly pull down your masks while eating or drinking, but your mask must be removed when you have finished.
  • Where can I get tested for COVID-19 before the game?
    • Fans will have access to free testing on campus thanks to Sendas Urgent Care. For testing prior to game day, visit the Kern Country Public Health web page.
    • Free testing is available for CSUB students, staff, and faculty on campus. For more information, visit csub.edu/covid-test.
  • Why is this policy only in effect at Men's Basketball games?
    • This attendance policy is mandated under the California Health Department guidelines for mega events (indoors). None of CSUB Athletics' outdoors events meet the 10,000-person threshold and CSUB's non-Men's Basketball indoor events do not surpass the 1,000-person threshold.

Watch on ESPN+

As has been the case for several seasons, fans who cannot come to campus to cheer on their team in person can watch many of our sporting events live on the ESPN family of networks. Starting this year, most of our home games will be broadcast on ESPN+ as part of the Big West Conference partnership with ESPN+.

How do I subscribe to ESPN+?
  • A subscription to ESPN+ is available for purchase via ESPN.com, ESPNPlus.com or the ESPN App. The ESPN App is a one-stop digital sports platform that provides easy, dynamic access to everything ESPN offers. Fans can access ESPN+ content only after they have subscribed.
  • Fans can take advantage of certain deals and bundles to maximize their content received. For example, ESPN+ has been available through the "Disney Bundle", which combines ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney+ for one low cost. Also, certain cell phone service providers have at times including deals for free access to ESPN+, so check with your provider for details on those offers.
