Main Soccer Field

Emergency Personnel

A certified athletic trainer will be on-site for all home soccer games. In the event of an emergency during practice a certified athletic trainer may be reached in the Athletic Training Room (661-654-3327) located in the Physical Education Building. Campus Police should be notified (661-654-2111) in the event of an emergency. Campus Police will contact 911, Emergency Medical System, and will arrange for emergency transport. Campus Police will escort the ambulance to the Main Soccer Field.

Venue Location

The Main Soccer Field is located at the northeast end of Parking Lot I off Roadrunner Drive. The Athletic Training Room is in the Physical Education Building North of the Icardo Center

Emergency Communication

The Certified Athletic Trainer will have a cell phone during home meets and coaches will carry a cell phone during practices.

Emergency Equipment

Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is located on the south end of the home bench.

The following equipment will be available at home games and in the Athletic Training Room during practices.

Crutches

Roles of the First Responder

Provide immediate care of the injured or ill student-athlete
Activation of Emergency Action Plan
- Call Campus Police (661-654-2111)
- Provide information to Campus Police
  - Name, address, age, other personal information of student-athlete
  - Exact location, number persons injured, current condition of injured, care provided, other pertinent information
Emergency equipment retrieval
Designate Individual to notify Game Management staff (during games)
- Game Management will unlock gates
- Game Management will provide management of bystanders
- Administrators will aide in transport of student athlete
