Spring BBQ Sponsorship Opportunities

The CSUB Athletics Spring BBQ takes place each year on the second Thursday in May. The event is held in the CSUB Icardo Center and the surrounding area. Typically, over 3,300 people attend this popular community event. Listed below are some of the ways you become a part of this exciting fundraiser.

Presenting Sponsor ($7,500)

Recognition as the presenting sponsor of the Spring BBQ on all press releases and announcements regarding the BBQ

Logo recognition on the 8,000 tickets printed for the BBQ

Logo recognition on approximately 3,000 flyers distributed around campus, to local businesses and in mailings

Logo on 12 Community Signs ( 4’ x 4’) displayed two weeks prior to the event around Bakersfield and on the CSUB campus

Up to five banners displayed at the event. Sponsor must provide banners and size must be mutually agreed upon

Media Advertising Tags: Sponsor will receive presenting sponsorship recognition on all advertising for the event

Placemat Recognition: Sponsor will receive logo recognition on the 3,000 dinner placemats for the event

Hospitality Room: Sponsor will receive fifteen passes to the Hospitality Room located in the Icardo Room

Award Recognition: Sponsor will receive a recognition award at the event

BBQ Tickets: Twenty tickets to the event

Drink Tickets: Twenty drink tickets for use at the event

Display table: Sponsor will have the opportunity to set up a display table at the event (One 8ft table is provided)

Table Sign: Sponsor logo will be featured on one table sign at the event

Gold Level ($1,000)

Opportunity to hang two banners (size must be mutually agreeable and sponsor must provide the banners)

Opportunity to set up sponsor display booth (one 8ft table and linen will be provided)

8 BBQ tickets to the event, including access to the Hospitality Room, located in the Icardo Room

Sponsor logo on 3,000 dinner placemats

Hospitality Level ($500)

Opportunity to hang one banner (size must be mutually agreeable and sponsor must provide the banner)

6 BBQ tickets to the event with access to the Hospitality Room, located in the Icardo Room

Display Level ($500)

Opportunity to hang one banner behind sponsor table (Size must be mutually agreeable and sponsor must provide the banner)
