High School: Justeen comes to CSUB after leading Marauders of Mira Mesa High School to a pair of Eastern League titles and two CIF San Diego Section Div. I championship game appearances...hit .382 with a team?high four home runs while earning All?CIF San Diego Section Div. I and San Diego Union?Tribune All?Area recognition...was a four?time All?Eastern League and three?time All?CIF honoree...earned team MVP honors as a senior...led her travel ball team, the California Cruisers to a seventh place national finish in 2008 and a ninth place finish in 2007...also lettered in volleyball.

Personal: Justeen has not declared a major...is the second?youngest player on the 2009 roster...answers to the nickname Steenie...her cousin, Gina Leomiti, is a senior outfielder at Cal.
