2006: Zack Bigboy found immediate time in the CSUB lineup as a freshman…wrestled to a 9-11 overall record while splitting time nearly 50-50 with teammate Brandon Zoetewey…opened his collegiate career with a bang by placing sixth at the California Open…both losses in the tournament came against Sean Carlson of Fresno State, who placed fourth…ended the season on a strong note with the tournament title at the California Collegiate Invitational…defeated Zoetewey in the final for the tournament win…missed becoming a Pac-10 placewinner by one match…had a five-match win streak at one point late in the season and finished the year winning six of his final eight matches.

KENNEDY HS: Bigboy was a big star for the Eagles during his time at Kennedy HS…won the Minnesota State High School Championship four times, winning the 103 pound title in 2001 and 2002, the 112 pound title in 2003 and the 119 pound title in 2004…on the national level, placed fifth in the Greco section and eighth in the freestyle competition at the Asics Junior National Championships in 2004…finished his high school career with a 140-15 record and more than 50 pins.
