2019 (R-SENIOR): INDOOR: Played in 16 matches while earning five starts...tallied 31 kills on the year (0.74 per set) with a .133 hitting percentage…posted 38 blocks (four solo) for a team third-best 0.90 per set…recorded five kills and four blocks in victory vs. UTRGV on Senior Night…tallied career-high eight blocks vs. Seattle U Oct. 6…posted career-high six kills to go with three blocks vs. UTEP Sept. 13…earned Academic All-WAC honors.
2018-19 (R-JUNIOR/SENIOR): INDOOR: Played in nine matches while earning two starts...tallied 23 kills on the year (1.15 per set) with a .142 hitting percentage…recorded 20 blocks for an average of 1.00 per set…posted career-high six kills at California Baptist Oct. 6 and seven blocks at Grand Canyon Oct. 11…BEACH VB: Posted a 9-15 record, splitting time between No. 4 (3-7) and No. 5 pairs (6-8)…primarily paired with Rafa Bonifacio (8-14), but went 1-1 with Emily Hansen…helped Bonifacio defeat Sacramento State twice on the year including during the Big West Tournament...Academic All-Big West.
2017-18 (R-SOPHOMORE/JUNIOR): INDOOR: Played in four matches...recorded three kills, four digs, and one block assist...helped the `Runners win the WAC Tournament and a berth to the NCAA Tournament...BEACH VB: Totaled a 4-17 record...0-1 at No. 4 pair with Krista Hernandez and 4-16 with Hernandez and Sidney Wicks at No. 5...made season debut on March 10 against Vanguard and beat the Lions (21-9, 21-6) with Hernandez...defeated CSUN with Hernandez on March 30 (21-16, 21-16)...knocked off Vanguard with Wicks on April 21 (21-15, 21-6)...Academic All-Big West.
2016-17 (R-FRESHMAN/SOPHOMORE): INDOOR: Struggled with injuries once again with the CSU Bakersfield indoor squad and did not appear in a match...BEACH VB: Was 1-9 at No. 4 doubles and 0-7 at No. 5 doubles for 1-16 overall.
2015-16 (REDSHIRT/FRESHMAN): INDOOR: Sat out the indoor season as a redshirt at CSU Bakersfield. BEACH VB: Went 1-17 with four different partners playing at No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 doubles.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2015 graduate of Monroe High School...coach was April Munoz...was selected first team All-Area and given school’s Captain’s award during senior season...broke school record for most aces in a match (9) during 2014 campaign...was given team’s Most Inspirational award as a junior...named as the varsity’s most improved and given a Washington State Sportmanship award as a sophomore...a four-year letterwinner...team made the 2012 state tournament.
PERSONAL: Born Mar. 14, 1997...daughter of Chad and Julie Barber...double majoring in communications with an emphasis in public relations and ethnic studies.
