2009: David Mitchell ran a season low 49.53 in the 400m dash at the Bryan Clay Invitational...ran on the 4x400 relay team throughout the year.
STOCKDALE HS: Mitchell helped lead Stockdale High School to a Southwest Yosemite League title running sprints for the Mustangs...received the 2008 Coaches Award...member of the National Honor Society and the California Scholastic Federation...also played football and basketball.
PERSONAL: Mitchell is a math major and is minoring in business at CSUB...hopes to become a teacher or a coach after graduation...nickname is “D Mitch”...is a student worker for the sports information office.
