Nette got her feet wet in 2006, appearing in 34 games, mostly as a pinch runner…got her 1st collegiate hit in just her 2nd game vs. Seattle University on Feb. 4.

Nette starred for four seasons at local prep power Garces High School…led the Rams to three CIF Central Section Div. II titles and four postseason appearances…earned a bushelful of team awards, including Rookie of the Year, team MVP, most inspirational and Best Defensive Player…was a two–time all–league and two–time Bakersfield Californian all–area selection…hit .425 as a senior…also starred on the Garces golf and basketball teams…was a two–time all–area pick as a golfer…full first name is Antoinette.
