2024-25 (Senior): Cross Country - Competed in all four meets...Earned a career best in the 4k with a time of 15:09.2 placing 39th at the waves invite...Achieved a season best in the 6k at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational with a time of 23:36.2.
2023-24 (JUNIOR): Cross Country - Competed in five meets for the Roadrunners...Earned a personal best in the 4k, 5k, and 6k distances...Was consistently the number two CSUB finisher during the season...Finished 78th overall at the Big West Cross Country Championships and 75th overall with a time of 25:36.7.Â
2022-23 (SOPHOMORE): Cross Country - Competed in all four meets...Finished second on the team at the Big West Cross Country Championships and 75th overall with a time of 24:19.0. Outdoor - Competed in six races during sophomore season...Ran a season best 5:21.54 in the 1,500 meters at the Mustang Invitational.Â
2021-22 (FRESHMAN): Cross Country - Was the most consistent number two in scoring her rookie season...Outran all of CSUN's runners at the Master's XC Invitational, finishing second for CSUB...Ran the third fastest team time at the Big West Championships. Indoor - In her debut season ran three meets for the `Runners...Placed 4th overall at the Ronn Mann Classic in the 600 meters with a time of 1:44.89. Outdoor - Opened her debut season with a win in the 800 meters at the Sunbird Invitational...Ran the 800 meters and the 4x400 meter relay at the Big West Track & Field Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2021 graduate of Highland High School in Bakersfield, Calif...helped Highland win a DIV CIF Central Section Championship...named SEYL First Team All-League in 2018-19 and 2019-20...broke school record in 800-meter race...earned Scotsmen track and field Rising Star Award...earned Scotsmen Coaches Award from being on the soccer team in 2018-19.
PERSONAL:Â Majoring in Kinesiology and plans on becoming a physical therapist after her time at CSUB...Neyda's brother, Omar Andres Martinez, is an active soccer player at UC Merced.
