Biography
2022 (JUNIOR): Posted an 8-15 record on the year, playing as part of No. 3, 4, 5, and exhibition pairs…went 8-15 with Seleisa Elisaia…Defeated No. 2 USC’s exhibition pair in two sets…Pushed No. 14 Pepperdine’s exhibition pair to three sets..earned Academic All-Conference honors.
2021 (JUNIOR): Posted a 5-11 record on the year, playing as part of No. 3, 4, and 5 pairs…went 3-6 with Seleisa Elisaia as No. 5 pair… tallied 2-5 mark with Hayley McCluskey across two pairings…helped Elisaia defeat CSUN and UC Davis in straight sets and the pair pushed No. 10 Hawai’i and No. 18 Long Beach State to the tiebreaker…pushed No. 5 Cal Poly to tiebreaker with McCluskey.
JUNIOR COLLEGE (2018-20): Competed at Irvine Valley College under coach Tom Pestolesi…A two-year starter and All-Orange Empire Conference honoree…helped squad to a 15-1 record (10-0 in OEC play) against junior college opponents in 2018-19… team finished third at 2019 CCCAA State Championship with Gendale and teammate Kendall Nolan qualifying individually among the Top 20 pairs in California…in 2019-20, played primarily in the No. 2 or No. 3 position as IVC was ranked second in the AVCA preseason poll…team's season was cut short, but Gendale still benefitted from two full seasons of play with the indoor squad…tallied 2.64 kills and 2.81 digs per set in 2019 while the indoor team posted a 48-3 record in her two seasons.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of Los Osos High School...Played for Taylor Galliano.
PERSONAL: Born on July 6, 2000...Daughter of Rudy and Lisa Rodriguez...A kinesiology major.
