Biography

2023-24 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt.

2022-23 (SOPHOMORE): Wrestled to a 6-14 overall record, while posting a 3-5 dual record as the team's primary 197 wrestler...Opened the season with a 2-2 record at the Roadrunner Open with a pin on Menlo College's Cameron Bauman at 4:26...Helped CSUB to sole dual win over Central Michigan with 9-4 decision over Cameron Wood...Also posted high-scoring dual wins with 12-7 victory over Cal Poly's Wilson and a 10-9 win over Little Rock's Weinert...Earned a trio of honors including Academic All-District, Pac-12 Honor Roll, and NWCA Scholar All-American.

2021-22 (FRESHMAN): Finished 5-8 on the season...Opened the year with a 4th place finish at the Menlo Open with a 4-2 record...Opened the season as CSUB's starter at 197 falling in bouts at Michigan and against Utah Valley...Represented CSUB at the Cliff Keen Invitational and the Tournament of Champions. 

PREVIOUS COLLEGE: Spent the 2020-21 season at Fresno State, competing regularly during his true freshman campaign, taking a waiver on top of that due to the COVID-19 pandmeic. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Clovis West High School in Fresno, Calif...Coached by Kyle Gilcrest...Four-time All-League and All-Valley Selection...First-Team All-State in 2020, when he went 40-6 as a senior at Clovis West...Three-Time All-Masters choice...CWHS Team MVP in 2019 and 2020...Golden Eagle Character Counts Award Winner in 2017 and 2018...Also competed in football for CWHS, earning First-Team All-League honors in 2019 and 2020 and Third-Team All-State accolades in 2020. 

PERSONAL: Majoring in Child, Adolescent and Family Studies.
