2024-25 (SENIOR): Shifted focus to distance freestyle…Placed Top 3 in 17 races, including seven first-place finishes…At Big West Championships, earned Silver in 1650 free while swimming the mile for just the second time in her career…Also earned bronze in 500 free at conference meet and earned all-conference in 1650 free, 500 free, and 200 free…Posted personal best times in 200 free (1:50.41), 500 free (4:51.11), 1000 free (10:06.16), and 1650 free (16:42.25) at Big West meet…500 free time ranks fourth all-time for CSUB, 1000 free time is third, and time in the mile is second…Won 500 free at Trailblazer invite with time of 4:53.63…Earned Academic All-Conference honors.
2023-24 (JUNIOR): A versatile swimmer who competed regularly in five events: both backstrokes, 200 free, 500 free, and 200 IM…Placed top three in four dual meet events…Earned All-Conference honors at MPSF Championships in 500 free, posting career-best time (4:55.15)…Placed in C-finals in 200 free and 200 back at Conference…Earned Academic All-MPSF honors.
2022-23 (SOPHOMORE): Competed in six different events, primarily focusing on the freestyle and backstroke races…Won the 50 free and the 500 free during the Pomona-Pitzer dual and posted nine Top 3 finishes in dual season…Scored points with a 14th-place finish in the 500 free at the MPSF Championships…Added C-final placements in the 200 free and 200 back at Conference…Qualified for and competed in two events at the National Invitational Championships…Season-best times: 50 Free (26.40), 200 Free (1:53.20), 500 Free (4:56.55), 100 Back (59.76), 200 Back (2:03.03), and 200 IM (2:11.06).
2021-22 (FRESHMAN): Swam to five Top-10 finishes and one individual win as a freshman, competing primarily in the Backstroke and Freestyle...Lone victory came in the 500 Freestyle versus Pepperdine...Competed in the 200 Backstroke (2:05.79), the 200 Freestyle (1:53.13) and the 500 Freestyle (4:58.02) at the MPSF setting new personal bests in each event...Was 12th in the 500 Freestyle, 14th in the 200 Freestyle and 21st in the 200 Backstroke...Competed in the relay events at the National Invitational Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: Swam four seasons at Mountain View High School in Mesa, Ariz...Coached by Glen Coy...Four-time Toro Swimmer of the Year and Five-time Mesa Hohokam City Champion...Earned City Championships in the 100 Back on three occasions, and once in each of the 200 & 500 Freestyles...Finished 4th in the 500 Free at the AIA Division I Swimming Championships as a senior in 2020...Holds the school record in the 100 Back...Led the Toros to City Team Championships in 2018 & 2019...Swam on the 2019 AIA winning 200 Medley Relay...Also competed for the Mesa Aquatics Club, earning two 2021 futures cuts in the 100 Back and 400 Free.
PERSONAL: A business administration major who hopes to go into the fashion industry after her time at CSUB...Had two aunts compete in sports at Scottsdale CC.
