Biography
2022-23 (R-JUNIOR/SENIOR): INDOOR: One of the team's veteran leaders, played and started in all 32 games at middle blocker, participating in the third-most sets on the team (116)...Climbed CSUB's record book for total blocks with 292, and is now ranked 3rd in Division I history, 7th all-time...She also ranks 5th in Division I history with a career hit percentage (.234)...Had at least one block in all but two games the entire season...Paced all `Runners with 98 total blocks...Had fourth-most kills on the team with 197, while putting up 1.7 per set...Fourth-most service aces on team (21)...One of the hardest workers on the team academically, won the university's Flachmann Award given to a student-athlete that who excelled academically, maintaining high marks in the classroom while also contributing to team success...Was a Big West All-Academic Selection on top of being an Academic All-District honoree…BEACH: Posted an 11-15 record including 11-13 as the No. 1 pair and 0-2 at No. 2…Paired exclusively with Sophia Brandstetter…Defeated Oregon’s top pairing in straight sets on Mar. 18…Pushed No. 8 Hawai’i’s second pair to the brink, eventually falling 19-17 in the tiebreaker set…In one set against Westcliff, earned a 34-32 marathon win…Went 2-1 in matches against Big West foe CSUN on the year…Finished her collegiate career as CSUB’s all-time leader with 44 career wins…Earned CSUB's Female Flachmann Award at the ROWDYs, awarded to the top female student-athlete.
2021-22 (R-SOPHOMORE/JUNIOR): INDOOR: Started all 29 matches…ranked seventh among Big West Conference and led team in blocks (113, 1.03/set) while ranking second on team in attack percentage (.257) and third in kills (249, 2.26/set)…reset CSUB’s Division I single-season record with 113 total blocks and ranks second with 105 block assists…recorded double-digit kill totals in 12 matches…tallied career-high 15 kills in just four sets vs. Hawai’i Nov. 19…posted career-high nine blocks at Long Beach State Sept. 25…earned Academic All-Conference honors…BEACH: Posted a 10-18 record including an 8-17 mark as Bakersfield’s No. 2 pairing…Paired exclusively with Sophia Hladyniuk, earning Honorable Mention All-Big West honors…Earned a three-set win over No. 9 Hawai’i on Mar. 25…Pushed ranked teams to three sets twice…Went 2-2 at the Arizona Invitational…earned Academic All-Conference honors...In the offseason, coached a kids' beach volleyball camp near her hometown and also interned with a Bakersfield company.
2020-21 (R-SOPHOMORE/JUNIOR): INDOOR: Indoor season cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic…BEACH: Earned All-Big West Honorable Mention honors…Posted a 6-10 record on the years, splitting time between the No. 2 (6-4) and No. 1 (0-6) pairing…partnered exclusively with Emily Hansen for second-straight season…dropped a close match (17-21, 18-21) against No. 1 ranked USC’s No. 1 pairing…pushed No. 6 Cal Poly’s and No. 18 Long Beach State’s No. 2 pairs to tiebreaker sets…posted a 2-2 record at the Big West Championship…finished season with 23 career wins, which ranked eighth all-time in CSUB history.
2019-20 (R-FRESHMAN/SOPHOMORE): INDOOR: Played in 27 matches, starting 23 times…earned place on WAC All-Freshman Team…ranked fifth on team with 1.69 kills per set…ranked second with 81 total blocks and .221 hitting percentage…blocks total ranks 10th in CSUB’s Division I history for a single season…posted season-high 16 kills vs. Chicago State Oct. 26…recorded season-high seven blocks twice, in back-to-back matches…earned Academic All-Conference honors while posting highest GPA on team…BEACH: posted a 7-2 record on the year as part of the No. 2 pair…partnered exclusively with Emily Hansen…helped Hansen defeat Santa Clara, 21-6 and 21-6, and San Francisco, 21-10 and 21-12...earned Academic All-Big West honors.
2018-19 (REDSHIRT/FRESHMAN): INDOOR: Sat out season as a redshirt…BEACH: Posted a 10-14 record, exclusively competing with Sidney Wicks as the No. 3 pair…helped Wicks defeat Sacramento State twice including during Big West Tournament…defeated CSUN in three sets Mar. 2 (21-16, 18-21, 15-11).
HIGH SCHOOL:Â A 2018 graduate of Gymnazium Ceska in the Czech Republic.
PERSONAL:Â An engineering major who hopes to play volleyball professionally after her time at CSUB.
