2018-19 (FRESHMAN): Specialized in the breaststroke events, grabbing 17 top-10 finishes on the year...Won the 100 Breast (1:07.47) in her first collegiate race at the UNLV Invitational...Finished 9th in the 100 Breast (1:03.70) and 10th in the 200 Breast (2:19.53) at the WAC Championships...Ranks fourth on the CSUB Top-5 in both the 100 and 200 Breaststroke disciplines...Swam on both the 200 and 400 medley relay teams that placed second and seet school records at the conference meet.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Tanque Verde High School in Tanque Verde, Ariz...coached by Art Arnold...earned Team MVP honors and broke the school record in the 100 breast her freshman year.
PERSONAL: Born on August 4, 2019...daughter of Geoffrey and Kristin Sohoel-Smith...kinesiology major.
