Biography

2019-20 (SENIOR): Wrestled between 174 and 197 pounds, finishing the season 6-12 overall...Won a pair of dual meet bouts, defeating North Dakota State's Jimmy Noel at 174 and Duke's Kai Blake at 184...Posted a 3-1 mark to place second at the California Collegiate.

2018-19 (JUNIOR): Produced a 5-6 record at 157 pounds...in his first varsity start he won by technical fall against Life Pacific...went 2-2 at the Roadrunner Open...earned a victory at the Reno Tournament of Championships and the Southern Scuffle.  

2017-18 (REDSHIRT): Sat out season as a redshirt at CSU Bakersfield...went 11-4 in the open competition...placed second in the Cali Collegiate...won by fall twice and tech fall twice.

2015-16 (PRIOR TO CSUB): Competed at Fresno City College under coach Paul Keysaw...earned All-American honors for wrestling...earned Academic All-American status with 3.8 GPA...helped Rams win State Championships in 2016.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2015 graduate of Bakersfield High School...coached by Andy Varner...named to All-Area Team in 2014 and 2015...helped Drillers win SWYL Championships.

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 8, 1997...son of Jeff and LeeAnn Annis...a computer science major.
