Biography
2005: Steve Trojanowski saw significant playing time as a freshman despite playing most of the season behind 2005’s full-time starter Marc Perez…played in 284 minutes with five appearances and two starts…allowed just four goals for a 1.26 goals against average…recorded 12 saves…earned his first career clean sheet in his first career start…in that match, he needed to make five saves in a 1-0 win over Cal State Stanislaus (09/23/05) for that first career shutuout.
DAMIEN HS: Trojanowski was a three–sport star athlete at Damien HS…was a first–team All–Sierra League and third–team All–CIF Southern Section Division I pick after a monster season where he recorded 121 saves and had 15 shutouts in 31 games, allowing just 21 goals…established school records for saves and shutouts in a season…helped the Spartans to the Sierra League title in 2003 and 2004 and the CIF Southern Section Division I quarterfinals both seasons…named “Spartan of the Year” in 2004… also earned first–team All–Sierra league recognition as a senior in football, helping the Spartans wear the Sierra League crown in 2004.
PERSONAL: Major is physical education and kinesiology at CSUB…born in Bridgeport, Conn.…parents are Walter and Donna Trojanowski.
