Biography

2020 (JUNIOR): Started one of five games played before season was cut short due to COVID-19 pandemic…Batted .143 (1-for-7) on the year with one RBI…Graduated from CSUB.

2019 (SOPHOMORE): Sat out majority of season with injuries…Played in one game, Apr. 6 at Grand Canyon…Record a pair of putouts as the catcher and went 0-for-1 from the plate.

2018 (FRESHMAN): Started in 32 of 36 appearances…All 32 starts were in right field…Posted a .186 batting average, but a .301 on-base percentage…Ranked second on the team and 43rd in NCAA Division I with eight sacrifice bunts (0.22/game)…Recorded seven RBI, seven runs, and eight walks…Posted season-highs with two hits at Saint Mary’s Feb. 24 and two RBI vs. Saint Mary’s Feb. 18.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Harbor Teacher Preparation Academy...Coach was Christina Chavez…Named LA City First Team All-City in 2014 and 2016…Earned 2017 Softball Small Schools First Team All-State…Four-year starter for Monarchs…Led team to win City Championship as a freshman…Concluded career with .551 batting average, 152 RBI, 21 home runs, and .613 on-base percentage…Made Principal’s Honor Roll all four years…Also competed for USA Athletics 18 Gold under coaches Mike and Rose Rogers…Club team finished runner-up at 18U PGF Platinum in 2016.
 
PERSONAL: Born Nov. 26, 1999...Daughter of Albert and Elizabeth Fua…A kinesiology major who hopes to become an athletic trainer after her time at CSUB.
