2019-20 (SENIOR): Posted 15 top-10 finishes, while swimming primarily the 100 Back and the 200 Back...Swam both backstroke events and the 200 IM at the WAC Championship...Placed 15th in the 200 Back (2:03.99) at the conference meet...Was 22nd in the 100 Back...Clocked a 2:08.25 to win the 200 Back at Fresno Pacific...Was second in the 200 Back in duals with UC Santa Cruz and California Baptist/Pomona Pitzer...Placed third in consecutive 100 Back swims against San Jose State and UCSD/LMU.

2018-19 (JUNIOR): Placed ninth in the WAC in the 200 back (2:03.76)...placed 10th in the WAC in the 100 back (57.03)...won the 100 back against Fresno Pacific (59.64)...had seven top-five finishes on the season...was the runner-up in the 200 back against Fresno Pacific (2:08.16) and San Jose State (2:09.36).  

2017-18 (SOPHOMORE): Placed seventh in the 200 back in a personal record time (2:01.98) at the WAC Championships...placed 10th in the 100 back in a season-best time (57.04) at the WAC Championships...placed 14th in the 200 IM in a personal-best time (2:07.25) at the WAC Championships...won the 200 back three times during the dual season...recorded 24 top five finishes throughout the year.

2016-17 (FRESHMAN): Swam a personal best time in the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke at WAC Championships…made it back in the B-finals with a time of 56.76 and 2:03.59… Madero’s time in the 100 backstroke earned the fifth fastest time in CSUB’s history…went a personal best time of 2:09.31 in the 200 IM at WAC…helped the 400 medley relay earn the third fastest time in CSUB’s history.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2016 graduate of Las Cruces High School...coach was Luke Egnaczak.

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 18, 1997...daughter of Ruben and Yvonne Madero…liberal studies major.
